The car-free cycle adventure day on Lake Attersee is a special experience for cyclists of all ages. On this day, the entire main road around Lake Attersee is closed to motorised traffic and the 48 km route is exclusively available to cyclists.
A unique opportunity to explore Lake Attersee by bike, far away from the usual traffic.
Stop off at the regional catering establishments and enjoyment stations around the lake.
The route can be varied thanks to the special timetable of Attersee-Schifffahrt and Atterseebahn.

The car-free cycling day is also a special experience for children. Not only can they let off steam on their bikes and on a bouncy castle in Weyregg, this year Perla the mascot awaits them at five stations around the lake.
Weyregg am Attersee
Please note: in rainy weather, mascot Perla only appears in Unterach - at 11:00 and 14:00.
Perla welcomes the kids, hands out goodies and looks forward to taking photos together, making this special day even more fun for families!
Waste avoidance and waste separation: along the entire route you will find opportunities to dispose of your waste in an environmentally friendly way.
Sustainable journey: Special bus, train and boat timetables enable all guests to enjoy a sustainable and relaxed journey
Regional catering: a wide range of culinary delights along the route offers regional dishes - including vegetarian, vegan and organic options.
We need your support for this:
We try to organise the Cycling Experience Day in the most environmentally friendly and socially responsible way possible: from travel to waste disposal, from catering to aftercare.
The length of the route can be varied depending on your stamina and fitness thanks to the boat trip with bike. Please note the shuttle service of the Attersee shipping company between Attersee and Weyregg for a quick "Attersee crossing" by water. NEW: Also the crossing Stockwinkel and Steinbach. The Parschallen and Alexenau landing stages are not served.
