Fun for children at the Attersee and in the Attergau
The Attersee-Attergau region is especially known for its fantastic bathing areas and breathtaking landscape, which children also love - especially on children's theme paths and with playgrounds.
Experience nature up close. Cycling, hiking and mountaineering, but also swimming, water sports or just having fun in the water - happy children - happy parents! During instructive adventure hikes in the forest or exciting adventure tours in the Attersee-Traunsee Nature Park, the focus is on the shared family experience in the natural environment of the Attersee-Attergau region.
Adventurous and sportive activities or exciting and instructive excursions - the holiday region Attersee-Attergau offers a variety of possibilities for families.
Excursions for families
Families can look forward to a wide selection of excursion destinations. There is something for everyone!
Various animals can be stroked, fed, ridden and admired - in zoos, petting zoos and other animal destinations. All family members can expand their knowledge and discover new things with exciting exhibitions, museums and guided tours. The playgrounds, sports facilities and amusement parks offer sporting challenges and varied adventures.
Hikes for families
Theme trails and exciting children's hiking trails with playgrounds and other adventure stations - here, hiking is also fun for children.
Whether gold digging or discovering the glass valley, following fairy tale hiking trails or getting to the bottom of the Celts. Enthusiastic children hurry from one station to the next, play and discover and romp - that's how family time is fun!
On 25 October 2019, two mascots were chosen for the Tourist Board from 130 children's drawings: an owl and a fish.
Both animals are a perfect match for our new claim Attersee-Attergau: clear water, wide landscape and they are a synonym for the former two regions, which have now merged into one. Soon they will be produced as cuddly toys. Be curious about the adventures of Gustl and Perla.
