The highest point in the Attergau

If you decide to hike up the Lichtenberg and climb the Attergau viewing tower, you will be rewarded with a magnificent view. After 208 steps and 36 metres in altitude, you can enjoy a clear view of the Traunstein, the Höllengebirge, Lake Attersee, the Dachstein and much more. The tower can only be climbed in daylight and when the steps are free of ice and snow.

Outdoor Escape Game - The Ring of the Lake Elves

The municipality of Unterach am Attersee has added a new attraction in time for the start of summer, as there is now an outdoor escape game especially for children. The game is played using a free mobile phone app, in which a magician and friend of the elves accompanies the children. "The app allows varied and exciting interaction with the game. Starting with a compass that guides the children, videos and visual elements that make the tasks easier.
