In the footsteps of time

More than 5,000 years ago, the first settlers at Attersee sank tribes into the ground to carry and protect their houses:  The pile dwellers.  Thousands of years later, the Romans discovered the Attersee for themselves and laid the cornerstone  for the summer resort at the Attersee.
