Krenek on Lake Attersee - A journey in tones through the Alps

Ernst Krenek loved Lake Attersee - as a composer, hiker and observer. His voice can now be heard again in Nußdorf: baritone Florian Boesch interprets Krenek's "Travel Book from the Austrian Alps" - a song cycle full of irony, vision and alpine miniatures.

Between lakes and peaks, Krenek tells of the Austrian landscape and mentality - with a sharp pen and musical finesse. The songs are both reflections and journeys, precise and poetic, witty and wistful.

An evening for lovers of literature and song - and for all those who not only want to wander through the Salzkammergut, but also discover it by listening. Where Krenek once lingered, his music now returns.
