Local Railway Atterseebahn Vöcklamarkt-Attersee

On a narrow gauge through the beautiful Attergau region to Lake Attersee!

The Atterseebahn railway on the route from Vöcklamarkt to Attersee offers modern mobility for schoolchildren, commuters and excursionists. In addition to scheduled services, special trips are also on the programme: an adventure trip on the Atterseebahn, e.g. to the Celtic Tree Trail, takes you through the beautiful Attergau region. Ideal to combine with a boat trip on Lake Attersee or hikes in the region. Those interested can also acquire a hobby locomotive driver's licence.

Specially for children, the "Celtic train - the adventure for little explorers" is offered on Thursdays during the summer holidays and the "Children's fun with train & boat and surprise guest Perla" on Tuesdays.

The modern train sets (Tramlink) set new standards in passenger transport in addition to the modern infrastructure.
