The still popular pilgrimage "Maria Auleiten" is located on the ancient Roman road that once led from Mösendorf via Frankenmarkt and Pöndorf to Straßwalchen.
The pilgrimage church Maria Auleiten on the old Roman road enjoys great popularity. Eastwards at the edge of the forest, where the road leads to Höhenwart, a hermitage existed for an indefinite time, it had a chapel and living quarters for the hermit. In the sanctuary stood the "Zeller Muttergottes" from the chapel, which - attached to the parish church - was destroyed in a fire. Apparently the hermitage had existed for centuries, but it was affected by the measures of Emperor Joseph II, so it was closed and converted into a Pointhaus. On the edge of the plague cemetery there had been a chapel since the Middle Ages where the Auleitenkirche was later added.
The miraculous image there dates from the 17th century.
