It is a top-class brass sound that Phil Blech presents to his audience. First wind players from the Vienna Philharmonic, the Vienna Volksoper, the Staatskapelle Dresden and the Hanover State Opera form a world-class wind ensemble. Entirely dedicated to the characteristic Viennese sound tradition, the musicians span a wide range of music from Mozart to Verdi, from Wagner to Bizet to Strauss. Wherever
they perform, the eleven wind players and two percussionists will thrill the audience.
Dr. Wilhelm Sinkovicz, an expert on the opera repertoire, will guide you through the programme and is sure to surprise you with some stories from the world of opera that you may not yet know!
