The B major Piano Trio and his extremely popular Piano Quartet with its rousing Zingarese character
are undoubtedly among the most beautiful chamber music works by Johannes Brahms. Two works that are closely linked to the composer's admiration and affection for Clara Schumann. Clara Schumann was also at the piano when Brahms celebrated a great triumph at the first performance of the piano quartet in Vienna. With the outstanding Beatrice Berrut, a "pianist with a difference" - she is a guest at Attergau Kultur for the first time - and her three male artist friends, a high-calibre ensemble of the younger generation presents itself. Their interpretation of Brahms' music with its highly romantic feelings and emotions is something to look forward to.
