The Adventures of Prince Achmed is a groundbreaking German animated film from 1926, created using Lotte Reiniger's fascinating silhouette technique.
It tells the epic adventures of Prince Achmed, inspired by "One Thousand and One Nights", and takes him to magical worlds. He fights demons, meets Aladdin and his love Pari Banu.
The elaborate production used 250,000 individual images, which were woven into a magical silent film. A masterpiece of film history!!!!
