Mass for the Assumption of Mary with the consecration of a bunch of herbs in St. Bartholomew's parish church in Unterach am Attersee by the Catholic Women's Movement.

"Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary" is one of the oldest Christian feasts and takes place annually on August 15. The feast is based on the belief that Mary, the mother of Jesus, was called to heaven by Christ after her burial in a stone tomb - "with body and soul," as the dogma proclaimed by Pope Pius XII in 1950 literally states.
