The historical village Frankenmarkt in the western part of Upper Austria lies in a beautiful, wide valley characterised by green meadows and pastures and next to the river Vöckla.
Frankenmarkt is a small market town dating back to the 11th century. It consists of 23 tiny hamlets which have maintained their small structures and organisational setup but which at the same time, have adapted to the modern times. Our guests are invited to visit some really interesting local businesses ranging from organic farming to the cultivation of roses without pesticides all the way to the chocolate manufacturer Frucht & Sinne, wellknown in all of Austria.Car:
