This diving spot is extremely suitable for training. A flat underwater area, which is covered with candelabra algae, is preceded by an even, comfortable entrance area. This way, sediments are not whirled up. The shallow water area extends very far, and then abruptly falls to 10 m. After this point, there is another long, flat part, before the area falls to a sloping depth of 20 m. On the right hand, underneath the buoys, is a sewer pipe that is weighed down and held in position with flat slabs of cement. With many eels, perches, and a few luces swimming around, night diving becomes a special event here.
The description of the diving spot is only in German available on the information board. The English description you will find in the catalog of Attersee Diving (available at the tourist offices in all villages around lake Attersee or online
