Water Days - Impulse evening: A frame full of water: Lake Attersee between art, culture & science

As part of the REGATTA Water Days, the Klimt am Attersee association invites you to an impulse evening at the Gustav Klimt Center in Schörfling.

Under the title "A frame full of water: Lake Attersee between art, culture and science", Gernot A. Biermeier's lecture examines the diverse relationships between Lake Attersee and the famous artist Gustav Klimt. He will show how nature and landscape served as a source of inspiration and what influence the lake had on the region's art and culture.

This will be followed by a round table discussion on current challenges such as tourism development, recreational pressure, lake aesthetics, cultural preservation and the effects of climate change. The aim of the evening is to strengthen regional water expertise, network knowledge from different disciplines and raise water protection to an emotional and cultural level.
