Water days - Underwater storage of prehistoric dugouts

As part of the REGATTA Water Days, the Pfahlbau am Attersee association invites you on a special journey through time above and below the water.

At this event, faithfully reconstructed prehistoric dugout canoes are stored underwater in public - an archaeological experiment that offers exciting insights into life in the pile-dwelling era. Visitors are invited to actively participate. The program will be complemented by a lecture by Dr. Wolfgang Lobisser, an expert in experimental archaeology, as well as an enjoyable supporting program with food, drink and music.
