Water Days - Lecture series on water as a force of nature

The "Natural Hazards" lecture series as part of the REGATTA Water Days 2025 will shed light on the effects of hydropower and possible protective measures.
It takes place in Weyregg am Attersee.

At the REGATTA Water Days 2025, the "Natural Hazards" lecture series will focus on the challenges posed by water - such as heavy rainfall, landslides and hail. Experts will explain how to protect yourself and how municipalities, institutions and the general public can take action.

A special highlight is the IBS hail testing machine, which allows visitors to see live how products are tested against hail.

Topics include: Hazard zone planning, lightning, protective forests and measures against landslides.

The aim is to be better prepared for natural hazards together.
