A suitable diving spot for practice dives and training. From the entry point, take a slightly slanting dive to the right, and you will encounter a badly damaged boat, 12 m deep.
From this point, the best is to continue diving to the left, at the same depth level, over a few large tree trunks and rootstocks. After approximately 15 min., at a depth of 22 m, you will arrive at a stony, vertical, downward-running gully where you will see the famous wreck of a sailboat named “Dixi”. Alternatively, you can take a right at the entry point. Behind the sunken undergrowth, at approximately 17 m, you will find an old wooden base, with its remains extending to a depth of approx. 20 m. Further to the right, at a depth of 6 m, you will find a diving bell which has been converted into a bathtub. From that point onward, you can continue diving at around the 5 meter area, over large rocks and sometimes even over large luces.
The description of the diving spot on the information board is only available in German. You can find the English description in the catalog of Attersee Diving (available at the tourist offices in all villages around lake Attersee or online
