The group of Krampus in Weyregg - with nowadays 16 active members - was established  by Bruno Hemetsberger in 1993 to revive a long-forgotten tradition. The group shows itself as "wild" but the use of pyro-products and particularly the contact with children are in forefront of their activites. The Krampus masks are carved and made by chairman Bruno Hemetsberger. Children have enjoyed organized visits of the Krampus in the kindergarten and the primary school. Other Krampus groups are also welcome at the Krampus group Weyregg.
