New in Attersee on Lake Attersee! On 8 July, the General Store and Café at Landungsplatz in Attersee held its soft opening. We’re already looking forward to welcoming you – whether you’re one person or a group.

THE GENERAL STORE & Café

A general store is a shop typically found in rural areas or small towns. Such shops
offers a wide range of goods, such as food and other everyday items.
In the past, it was affectionately known as a ‘corner shop’.

‘THE GENERAL STORE’ revives this concept, reinterprets it and expands it to include a café. Complemented by a range of regional
produce and goods from small and large businesses around Lake Attersee, the aim is to create a space for local producers
where they can sell their produce. We provide the shelf space for this, based on the “Rent a Shelf” concept.

The basic idea behind this is also that people can shop right in the village, thus saving themselves long journeys. We offer an extensive range, from stamps, cigarettes, gifts, souvenirs, stationery, toys and toiletries right through to ‘free-roaming books’. Anyone who still
can’t find anything can also choose from a range of vouchers for hotels, restaurants and the like as a gift.

We’ve naturally also stocked up on fresh bread, dairy products, sausages, cheese and everything you need for a tasty snack whilst hiking, sailing, cycling or relaxing by the lake,
are, of course, also available.

The café can also be hired for events such as talks, meetings or small family celebrations. Catering is available on request.
The café will be open from around the start of August.
