Welcome to the family-friendly country inn "Zum Stampf" directly in the village of Straß im Attergau!
Our guesthouse is located in the Salzkammergut between Mondsee and Attersee.
The guesthouse is equipped with 6 double rooms, which are rented from May to about the end of September. Some of them have connecting doors, ideal for families. All our rooms are equipped with Smart-TV and Wi-Fi. We have 2 bathrooms with shower and bathtub on each floor.
Rooms with bath, shower/WC and balcony, sun terrace, table tennis and asphalt tracks. Only 8 km from Lake Attersee and 10 km from Lake Mondsee. Wonderful hiking possibilities in a wooded area and direct access to the Tarock cycle path. Ideal for families with children.
In our country inn with beautiful guest garden we spoil you with original home cooking. Wiener Schnitzel, Bratl in der Rein and much more.

Double room Tradition
The double rooms are spartan and traditionally furnished. The central location directly at the highway connections between St. Georgen im Attergau and Oberwang is ideal for transients. All our rooms are equipped with Smart-TV and Wi-Fi and balcony. We have 2 floor bathrooms with shower and bathtub. You will be spoiled by down-to-earth Austrian home cooking.

By car:
From Salzburg via motorway A1 – Exit St. Georgen im Attergau – right on the Attergaustraße (L540) to the center.
From Vienna/Linz via motorway A1 – Exit St. Georgen im Attergau – right on the Attergaustraße (L540) to the center.
From Bad Ischl – Weißenbachtal (B153) – follow B152 to Unterach and then B151 to Attersee than left to the Attergaustraße (L540) to St. Georgen.
At the end of St. Georgen turn left to Straß im Attergau. You will find us at the beginning of Straß on the right side.
By train:
From Salzburg or Linz/Vienna with „Austrian Federal Railways“ or „Westbahn“ to Attnang Puchheim - via regional train to Vöcklamarkt and St. Georgen
By plane:
Arrival to Airport Salzburg or Linz – with the car/bus or train to St. Georgen im Attergau.
