Guided tour at the via ferrata Attersee Klettersteig Mahdlgupf
Experience a unique tour in the Höllengebirge with a local and skilled mountain guide.
Character of tour
Amazing, long via ferrata to the Mahdlgupf, directly at the banks of Lake Attersee. This tour, which leads along the mighty “Weiße Wand“ (“White Wall“), requires good stamina. Almost 1,200 roped metres lead to the exit just beside the summit! In the central part, the climbing becomes exposed and steep, and after a rest in the so-called “Wald” (forest), one follows a long section on a ridge, which offers great trekking with a view to the lake, including short and steep climbing sections. At the end, one has to climb a steep part to reach the summit.
all in all about 6 hours (30 min ascent to the via ferrata, 3 h 30 min climbing and 1h 30 min descent)
Rental Equipment (helmet, strap, via ferrata set) can be provided if needed
