A real old-timer lies at a depth of 5 m on a slanting, dropping slope.
With round fenders on display, attached headlights, and angular chassis, this is the remains of a car from the Twenties or Thirties, probably a BMW Dixi. Even though the engine block, doors, and inner workings are missing, the rest of the car offers an interesting diving destination. Further below, lies a car door which probably does not belong to the old-timer. If you dive to the left, you will encounter a sunken dinghy at a depth of 13 m. Otherwise, there are a few other car tires and rootstocks loosely scattered on the muddy floor.
The description of the diving spot on the information board is only available in German. You can find the English description in the catalog of Attersee Diving (available at the tourist offices in all villages around lake Attersee or online
