Memorial Chapel of Pachler and Lenzenhiasl

On 23 September 1742 overtook the inhabitants of Weyregg a terrible accident: In Steinbach sank a ship called "Plätte" with about a hundred pilgrims. The bottom of the overloaded ship broke through and eighty-eight Weyregger died in the floods. Many houses were empty after this disaster. To commemorate the 250th largest disaster build on the Attersee Weyregger the help of the entire population and all clubs this chapel. On 20 September 1992 was blessed them.
