The observatory at Gahberg bei Weyregg/Attersee is located at an altitude of 860 metres; fantastic panoramic view of Höllengebirge Mountain Range in the south.
Guided tours and observatory nights await visitors to the Gahberg Observatory.
Since a few years, the guest observatory is in operation, which was built with the combined efforts of the members of the Sterwart and in which from spring 2018 also astrophotography with SLR cameras possible.
Several observatory buildings with numerous telescopes offer a view of the universe. (Moon, planets, shooting stars, galaxies, constellations, photo exhibition and astronomical photography, etc.) An experience for the whole family.

From the west: Coming via Bad Ischl through the Weißenbachtal on the B 152 via Steinbach to Weyregg.
There are plenty of parking spaces available nearby.
Coming from Salzburg or Linz / Vienna to Attnang-Puchheim or Vöcklabruck and then by bus no. 562 to Weyregg at the bridge left towards Bach Gahberg Miglberg then at the crossroads turn left into Gahbergstrasse
