In the sports hall in Steinbach you can also go climbing, but also play tennis or football - you can also book the hall online.

Have you ever hiked with alpacas? Very few people can say yes - all the more reason to give it a try (for small groups of up to 6 people).

If you dare, you can also get closer to bees - at the bee farm in Attersee there is not only an educational trail with a show beehive but also guided tours of the bee yard with honey tasting.

The moor witch Gerli guides you through the Gerlhammer Moor and provides information about the many special features of this now rare form of landscape.

The Attersee-Traunsee Nature Park also offers exciting nature tours, for example "On a dive in the forest sea", "Aliens in the stream", "Forest creatures and tree spirits", or "It's good to be in the dark".

Those travelling on the Celtic train are accompanied by a real Celtic woman on the Atterseebahn and up to the Celtic Tree Trail, where they bake stick bread together and the brave are rewarded with Celtic tattoos.

In the Gläsernes Tal, the Schaudorf is regularly open, where you can watch glassblowers at work .

At Kreativhof Wastlmann, you can let your creativity run wild with drumming and felting.

There are also other themes, such as the pile dwellers there are also exciting guided tours and adventure programmes in the Attersee-Attergau region.

Off to water fun - not just on hot summer days!

When the summer sun is shining, it's time to dive into the refreshing Attersee, where you can not only swim, but also try out many adventurous sports. With the diving school Under Pressure, you can try diving or canyoning - or you can combine the latter with snorkelling while hiking with diving goggles.

Water skiing, tubing, wakeboarding and more are also on offer at Lake Attersee.

Impressive experiences on and in the water are not only available on hot summer days. Well equipped - with a wetsuit if required - the fun can begin regardless of the temperature. Exciting activities such as a scavenger hunt on a stand-up paddleboard or taster diving courses will leave you with lasting memories.

If you want to stay dry despite the summer sun, you can hike along pleasantly shady forest trails to the Gläsernes Tal, the Keltenbaumweg or the Nixenfall and collect one of the AbenteuerWanderPass gifts along the way.
