In his speech at the opening of the 75th Salzburg Festival in 1995 entitled "What is truth?", Nikolaus Harnoncourt poses many new questions: the meaning and role of art, its entanglement with politics, its potential effectiveness: who does it serve? Is there an artistic truth that transcends time?
For Markus Hinterhäuser, as a practicing artist, these are central themes in the examination of art and the position of the artist in society.
This event is a cooperation with the Nikolaus Harnoncourt Center at the Anton Bruckner Private University Linz.
