Summer cinema in Nußdorf am Attersee

On Tuesday, August 4, 2026, the Grafengut in Nußdorf am Attersee will once again be transformed into an atmospheric open-air cinema! From 21:00 we cordially invite you to the summer cinema by the lake.

The program features the short film "Blaue Wunder," followed by the comedy "Bella Roma - Love in Italian."

"Blaue Wunder"
A humorous Austrian short film about Eva’s life journey—from childhood to old age—and how invisibility becomes an unexpected source of strength. This short film humorously explores the cyclical invisibility in a woman’s life—from childhood to old age—and shows how no longer being seen ultimately becomes a source of self-empowerment. “Blue Miracles” is an amusing attempt to question female upbringing and socialization and to poke fun at the much-discussed “invisibility” of women in old age. Through cinematic fragments, viewers experience the main character, Eva, in her childhood, as a young adult, and as an older woman.

"Bella Roma – Love in Italian"
To celebrate their 40th wedding anniversary, Gerda and Kristoffer are given a trip to Rome, where Gerda studied art before her wedding. The carefree nature of the trip is interrupted when a shadow from the past emerges: Gerda’s former teacher and lover, Johannes. Enchanted and invigorated by his charming manner, Gerda recalls her youthful dream of becoming an artist and the secrets from that time. Kristoffer soon suspects that there is more than just a friendly relationship between Gerda and Johannes. He is confused, and his doubts drive him into utterly absurd situations. The Eternal City ignites a newfound vitality in Gerda. Will the future of their marriage be decided on this trip?
