St. Georgen Winter Pedestrian Zone – Advent Spirit with St. Nicholas and the Krampus Parade

On December 5, 2026, St. Georgen im Attergau will transform into an atmospheric pre-Christmas wonderland for the whole family. The Winter FUZO invites visitors to take a leisurely stroll, enjoy the festivities, and linger, while a varied program creates a true Advent atmosphere.

Advent Market with Regional Vendors

A special highlight of the Winter FUZO is the Advent market. Numerous vendors showcase their products and invite visitors to browse and discover at their leisure. In addition to lovingly crafted gift ideas and regional products, food lovers will also find plenty to enjoy: culinary vendors treat visitors to winter delicacies and a variety of tasty treats. There are also warming drinks that invite you to enjoy a cozy get-together.

St. Nicholas, Krampus, and Perla

There’s plenty for our youngest visitors to enjoy as well: At 4:30 p.m., St. Nicholas arrives and puts a sparkle in the children’s eyes.

Starting at 6:00 p.m. at Postplatz, it’s “Meet the Krampuses”! Here, you can experience the Krampuses up close. Of course, the popular mascot Perla will be there too.

The highlight of the evening is the grand Krampus parade at 7:45 p.m. Around 20 Krampus groups from the region will parade through St. Georgen, creating a spectacular experience with their impressive masks, fur, and eerie figures.

Whether it’s a cozy Advent market, culinary delights, St . Nicholas, or the thrilling Krampus parade—the St. Georgen Winter Pedestrian Zone offers an Advent atmosphere for the whole family.
