10 commandments for your diving holiday on Lake Attersee

With its excellent topology, drinking water quality and breathtaking underwater fauna and flora, Lake Attersee is not only a true paradise for divers and water sports enthusiasts. Thanks to the excellent conditions, a diversity of fish species has developed here that is hard to find in any other Austrian body of water.

We protect nature
 and ensure that
 waters are kept clean.

 We respect the legitimate
 interests and the
 recreational needs of others
 and contribute to a prosperous
 coexistence on the water.

 We take nothing with us -
 except the memory
 of a wonderful experience.

 We leave no rubbish behind -
 only air bubbles

 We use the diving access points provided by

 and never wade through
 reed belts or
 other biotopes.

 We observe prohibited zones,
 spawning protection times and
 adhere to the
 local recommendations.

 We always pay attention to good
 buoyancy control and avoid
 any contact with the ground if possible

 We respect our own
 boundaries and do not encourage
 anyone to exceed their personal
 limits.

 We observe all recognised diving rules for
 general diving safety
