The Ager and especially the Traun are ideal for river diving. River diving is not cold because the warm surface water from the lakes upstream flows down the Ager and Traun. Small bullheads, aiteln, perch, tench, carp, trout, grayling, crayfish - everything lives in the Traun, even huchen can be seen from time to time. Many peaceful fish, but also huge pike, hide in the giant trees wedged in the river. It is a real alternative to diving to explore fish-rich but shallow flowing waters. This unique nature experience is equally suitable for divers and non-divers. Before the actual scuba diving tour, non-divers are equipped with a mask, snorkel, fins, booties, gloves and a warm wetsuit and familiarised with the basics of snorkelling. And then nothing stands in the way of your scuba diving adventure with a local guide. You float on the surface and the current of the Traun determines your pace. Sometimes you glide quickly over safe rapids to narrow, deep canyons, sometimes more slowly over wide pools full of fish ### Apnoea diving Apnoea means "without breath" or also respiratory arrest. Apnoea diving, also known as free diving, is the most original form of diving. Through mental preparation, relaxation and breathing techniques, you learn to control your pulse so that you can hold your breath for several minutes without stress. This not only makes freediving more relaxed, but also gives you a relaxed feeling when scuba diving.
