Not only was she held in high esteem by musicians as an extremely competent contact person in terms of musical style and performance practice, her life as an artist, manager, wife and mother also made her a role model for many. Following her death on 20 July last year, these days are dedicated to the memory of Alice and Nikolaus Harnoncourt, the artist couple who shaped the history of music for decades and are undoubtedly among the pioneering central figures of the classical music scene of our time.
