In the upcoming year of 2021 we will celebrate our 10 Jahre UNESCO – World Heritage Prehistoric Pile-Dwellings in and around the Alps, with a speciaL exhibition starting March 26, 2021 at the ATARHOF in co-operation with the Kuratorium Pfahlbauten, comprising the following:

The UNESCO – World Heritage, its significance and our mission – 4,500 years of  history of civilization of  rural daily culture throughout the history  of pile-dwellings in Europe, methods and excellent results of pile-dwelling research – the pile-dwelling sites on Lake Attersee and on Lake Mondsee – protective measures for the world heritage – locations and methods for sharing of knowledge on the pre-historic pile-dwelling in and around the Alps.

The year 2021 also aims at providing the opportunity of realizing additional topics for the intended co-operation between the museums of the REGION DES PFAHLBAUWELTERBES SALZKAMMERGUT.  This involves further co-operation talks into which also the Traunkirchen based Archekult will be involved.
