Klimt on Sunday - Gustav Klimt and his motives

- All weather
- Suitable for groups
On water and along the lake on the North Circuit.
Gustav Klimt, who regularly spent his summers in the region from 1900 to 1916, was inspired by Lake Attersee in terms of his landscape paintings. Many of his painting motifs can still be discovered today on land and from the lake side. Floral motifs from his paintings can be admired in the Klimt Garden in Kammer am Attersee. Discover with the "Klimtsucher" some of these famous motives.
On selected Sundays from July to September 2023, the theme tour "Klimt on Sunday" takes place. During this 2.5 hour guided tour you will get a profound insight into Klimt's work at Lake Attersee on water and on land.
Meeting point is at 14.30 at the landing stage in Kammer. The tour starts at 2:37 p.m. with a boat trip on the northern circuit. The places where Klimt worked will be explored on board one of the ships of the Attersee-Schifffahrt. The boat trip ends when you disembark in Seewalchen am Attersee, from where you can walk together along the Gustav Klimt Theme Trail from Villa Paulick along the Seewalchen promenade to the Klimt Garden.
