Up to now, we have only known Escape Games from so-called Escape Rooms. With the Outdoor Escape "The Ring of the Lake Elves", however, the whole of Unterach becomes a playing field! The game is played using a free mobile app. In it, a magician and friend of the elves accompanies the children. "The app allows diverse and exciting interaction with the game. Starting with a compass that guides the children, videos and visual elements that facilitate the tasks. All the way to the visualization of the magician accompanying the children," Weberberger continues. All that is needed, therefore, is a smartphone with an Internet connection. The tickets cost 39.90 euros and are available on the operator's website at www.OutdoorEscape.at. One ticket is needed per cell phone. However, any number of people - for example, an entire family - can play with one cell phone. As soon as one has a ticket, one can start independently and without appointment reservation at any time. "The Ring of the Sea Elves" is therefore ideal as a supporting program for children's birthday parties or outings with siblings and friends. "The story, the puzzles and tasks are tailored to young players aged 6 to 10 years," says Michael Weberberger, operator of Outdoor Escapes. Lake elves, who are at home on Lake Attersee, ask the children for help. A magic ring protects the elves from a monster that also dwells at the lake. But every 1,000 years the ring loses its magic power, which can only be restored by children, by passing tasks - to banish the monster from the lake.
