You will be rewarded with a wonderful view of Lake Attersee and many mountains in the region. There is a panorama board on the spot, which names the mountain peaks that can be seen. This tour leads to the [Hochplettspitz](https://attersee-attergau.salzkammergut.at/oesterreich-tour/detail/430007564/hochpletspitz.html), Unterach's local mountain. At the church square, orientate yourself in the direction of [the chestnut forest](https://attersee-attergau.salzkammergut.at/oesterreich-poi/detail/400638/naturschutzgebiet-edelkastanienwald.html). Pass the jubilee tree and follow the hairpin bends to the forest road. Beyond the road, follow the path uphill to the beautiful viewing platform. You can take a break there before climbing to the summit of the Hochplettspitz (1134 m).
