Since summer 2016, people from Unterach of all ages and professions have been working together for the sustainable (further) development of the community. The goal is to work together to develop measures that strengthen social cohesion, improve the quality of life and make our town economically viable for the future.

In 2016, the municipality of Unterach am Attersee decided to start an Agenda 21 participation process. With the participation of as many citizens as possible, important topics of the population are taken up and visions are developed for different fields of action.

The aim is to jointly develop a vision for the future of the municipality with which the people of Unterach can identify because it includes the interests of as many sections of the population as possible. The first projects should also be initiated through the Agenda 21 process. The self-chosen motto is: "With each other - for each other". Mutual exchange and the participation of the residents in the shaping of their village play a major role in this!
