The timeline trail in Seewalchen am Attersee, equipped with additional play stations and highlights for children, is one of seven adventure hiking trails.
In addition to the pile construction pavilions at the Ager bridge in Seewalchen, in Attersee and in Mondsee, the timeline path on the Seewalchner school path also deals with the long history of our homeland.

Since 2012 the Hauptschule / Neue Mittelschule Seewalchen has been working on the annual project "Pfahlbau im Seegebiet". The aim was to bring the school youth with the pile dwellings, life in this time, people with their living conditions and opportunities closer.
The project was initiated by Cyril Dworsky (Kuratorium Pfahlbau) and Gerald Egger. It was also the board of trustees, who played a leading role in the implementation and was actively involved in various school campaigns. In particular, Mag. Helena Novak and Dr. To highlight Lieselore Meyer. The board of trustees also made a substantial contribution to the costs.

After the children were brought up to the topic of pile dwelling in the school classroom from the point of view of various departments, a final project week followed in early October 2013. Here the students learned how B. grain was processed. Other topics included a .: Baking bread, herb kitchen, processing and dyeing wool, spinning and weaving, weaving walls, making fire, making stone tools, preparing molds for bronze casting, casting bronze (with the experimental archaeologist Michael Konrad), making musical instruments, work by archaeologists, gluing ceramics, Diving physics, archery, pile construction games and building a pile construction model.
