The pilgrimage church Maria Auleiten on the old Roman road enjoys great popularity. Eastwards at the edge of the forest, where the road leads to Höhenwart, a hermitage existed for an indefinite time, it had a chapel and living quarters for the hermit. In the sanctuary stood the "Zeller Muttergottes" from the chapel, which - attached to the parish church - was destroyed in a fire. Apparently the hermitage had existed for centuries, but it was affected by the measures of Emperor Joseph II, so it was closed and converted into a Pointhaus. On the edge of the plague cemetery there had been a chapel since the Middle Ages where the Auleitenkirche was later added. The miraculous image there dates from the 17th century.
