Next to the Kronberg chapel you will find a nicely arranged platform and have a gorgeous view over the Attergau and the lake Attersee. A telescope allows you to take even a closer look. It is also possible to get married on the Kronberg as a [civil registry office.](https://www.st-georgen-attergau.ooe.gv.at/Standesamt) To do this, however, you must first consult the [municipality of Straß im Attergau.](https://www.strassimattergau.at/Buergerservice_x2F_Meldeamt) The chapel on the Kronberg dates back as far as 1872. The tower was built in 1885. Before, there was a little wooden chapel, which burnt down in the 60ies of the last century. It was rebuildt by 3 local farmes from the Kronberg.
