The Judge and Rath des Marktes had the church built in 1723 with financial support from the merchant Ferdinand Ensinger. The church room is covered by a lunette barrel vault. Worth mentioning is the curved organ gallery with its charming stucco. A sculptural group of the Stations of the Cross, intended as the last station of the Way of the Cross, represents the interior decoration.
