Motorboating at Lake Attersee
Motorboating on Lake Attersee in the Salzkammergut is generally allowed. In order to maintain this possibility for a long time, we kindly ask you to strictly adhere to some laws and regulations. The operation of floating vessels driven by a machine drive with combustion engine is prohibited in the period from July 1st till August 31th. The motor yacht club Salzkammergut in Schörfling am Attersee offers the ideal home for all motorboat fans at Lake Attersee. The club hosts the only petrol filling station directly on the lake. You still don’t have the skipper's license? Then you have the chance to complete the required training at the motorboat driving school Franz Mittendorfer or at the Wasserschischule Unterach. And if there is something to repair on your boat or if you want to crane your boat you can find a summary of all additional information about the boat here.
